Tokio Marine HCC MIS Group - Entirely frustrating experience
I took HCCMIS visitors insurance when my parents visited me in US. My was sick and visited a doctor and had some lab tests.It took months and months of repeated follow up and documentation, aleast 30 hrs of my visited in back and forth with customer service, provider and the labs.
Provider was not able to file my claims and they kept referring to HCCMIS as "shady insurance company". I had to visit the provider mutliple times get the documentation and email to to customer service. Would you believe that? In the end they reimbursed a very paltry amount.
Worse my mom went back to India and they cannot even tell me how much I owe or answer any questions with respect to my insurance or benefits or bills.
Most frustrating experience I ever had with any product/customer experience. One saving grace was the live chat facility and even that is not available now.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
