I will never use or recommend this company. Went to the doctor and had some tests done thinking this insurance would cover it, well they did not. I have had to pay for all the procedures and they kept asking for information to get the claims processed, had to keep telling them I was a new patient and had no previous records to send. I have cancelled the insurance and will work with another well known company. Read more

No any attention to customers. Probably next time I'll choose a different company. I had typical case of urgent help, we visited doctor with a child after flu on Saturday, and received an answer that we need to cover everything on our own. Any contacts with customer service just provide a links on a website, nobody is able to explain the huge discrepancy between brochure and reality or explain a cancellation terms before you submit request on... After a phone call with them (with a very very rude girl on the phone) asking them if my next doctor appointment would be fully covered by them, getting the answer (with an attitude) that it definitely would be as long as I chose a doctor from the list on their website. At the doctor and asked them again, as I wouldn't go in if it wouldn't be covered by the insurance, the doctor assistant called HCCMIS again to be sure, and they told her as well... Read more

This is a Ponzi scheme- classic definition of thieves. They should be investigated.

Danger, Red Alert, Do not even consider buying any kind of service from these scammers. Before even considering buying this service I called their customer service number to make sure I would quilify for coverage. They ask on their questionnaire about certain things that would be considered pre-existing conditions. I went to hospital a few weeks before signing up for insurance for chest pain, turned out that it was just acid reflex (heartburn)... Read more

I took HCCMIS visitors insurance when my parents visited me in US. My was sick and visited a doctor and had some lab tests.It took months and months of repeated follow up and documentation, aleast 30 hrs of my visited in back and forth with customer service, provider and the labs. I HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW. I WORK FOR A HOSPITAL WHO PROVIDED CARE FOR A MAN WITH THIS CRAPPY *** INSURANCE. HE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 2 WEEKS, AND ULTIMATELY PASSED AWAY. THEY ARE STILL STALLING ON PAYING HIS CLAIMS, ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER, NEED THIS REPORT, THAT RECORD, THEN THEY WON'T PAY UNTIL THEY HAVE THE DEATH CERTIFICATE TO PROVE HE IS DECEASED. THEY SUCK!! Purchased medical insurance with them, which I ended up using - I had to visit an emergency room. They rejected all the claims from the hospital, even though deductible was met. Several resubmissions were in vain - they come up with different, but non-real reasons each new time. The last one states that the patient has another primary insurance. What?
